Day 1

My mom bought the Food Lover's Fat Loss dealio for me. I read through everything. It seems like a good idea to give it a go. As the NIKE slogan goes "Just DO IT!"

Day 1 in progress. So far for breakfast I had a hot green tea and half an onion bagel with a smidge of whipped cream cheese. And a spoon of peanut butter.

For a snack I had a TLC honey and almond bar and a water.

For lunch I had a reduced sodium turkey sammich on toasted whole wheat bread, with mustard, relish, a few bacon bits, cheese, a ton of lettuce, some cucumber, and some salsa and tostitos.

It was quite tasty.
This plan starts you out kind of slow. Today all I had to do was eat a snack between my meals. Although I went ahead and started eating healthier right from the get-go.
We even cleaned out the cabinets recently and got rid of all the 'bad', processed stuff.

I am about to go upstairs to take 'before' photos and to take measurements.
Tomorrow morning I weigh in. I forgot this morning. DUH.

I am on my 3rd 20 oz. water. I have had 2 servings of green tea today, and two coffees with my friend Jenny. I have been peeing A LOT.

My goal here is to lose about 80 pounds, become leaner and stronger and healthier over all. I want to be a good role model for my daughter. I want my self-esteem OUT of the shitter.

I must say nice things about myself each day in hopes of soon believing them!


The coolest thing about this program is that no foods are off limits. It encourages you to make healthy choices, but if you want pizza, you can have it. It is all about portion control, keeping your metabolism going, and just working on being a better you. Or, me, in this case. :)

Failure is not an option.
